Dewitt Tourbillon Différentiel
The Tourbillon mechanism corrects the precision of a mechanical watch by compensating for the disturbances caused by gravity, especially when the watch and its movement are regularly placed in a vertical position.
Along with the Tourbillon, the technological innovation of the DW 8002 movement lies in its patented spherical differential system used for winding the power reserve. Thanks to this device, the innovative movement enables a substantial (two-thirds) time-saving when winding the watch and features new aesthetics in the layout of the different components. The dial is replaced by a succession of revelations on plate and bridge, decorated with “Côtes de Genève”.
