The Chrono Gauge Mecha -1 takes the BMF collection’s racecar allusions a step future with its time interval measuring properties. Inspired by the speedometers of race machines, its three totalizers at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock are fashioned after registers on racecar dashboards. Set against the BMF collection’s signature tonneau-shaped case, the top half of the dial features a steering wheel-like arched window display with a rotating disc beneath for direct hour and minute read-offs. At the bottom half, four sub-dials (seconds, chronograph seconds, chronograph minutes, and chronograph hours) are presented in a T-shaped layout that recalls racecar registers. Further reinforcing the BMF identity are the two chronograph actuators and knurled crown at the case side, each etched with an individual ‘B’, ‘M’ and ‘F’.
The Chrono Gauge Mecha -1 is available in rubber strap, water resistant BUND-military style leather strap or genuine alligator strap.
