Linde Werdelin’s newest addition
to the Oktopus family is the
Oktopus Moonphase complication.
Powered by a Frederic
Piguet movement and with a
moonphase complication built
by Svend Andersen, this is a
unique combination of design
and craftsmanship which
depicts the moon phases with
photorealistic luminous discs
and gives a time indication
for the next half or full moon.
Having the same case dimensions
as the rest of the Oktopus
watches, the Moonphase model
bears a sapphire crystal case
back revealing the beautifully
crafted Piguet movement. The
water resistance has been tested
to withstand the pressure of
888m and the integrated helium
escape valve at 9 o’clock
ensures the watch endures the
pressure during resurface time.
The Oktopus Moonphase is
available in titanium with rose
gold bezel and limited to 29
pieces, connoting the 29 days
before the next full moon.
