As expected, it's fully skeletonized, with much of the bridge material strategically removed to reveal the intricate mechanics beneath.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe “dial” side has been thoughtfully reimagined: the date function and central seconds hand have been removed in favor of a subsidiary seconds display, positioned at 4:30 on a striking black sapphire disk.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTHE MOVEMENT\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe SXH7 caliber, was born as an evolution of the SXH5 movement. The decision of skeletonizing the main plate raised a number of significant challenges, the first one being to completely reverse the escapement. Then the oscillating mass had to be engraved on both sides, for example, and the crown mechanism, now visible to the naked eye, had to be reworked entirely. On a more technical note, the seconds hand could no longer be connected by a bridge to the center, so space was made at 4:30 for a small seconds dial. The solution was to use sapphire crystal ring for the seconds. The open-worked flying tourbillon appears to hover between the main plate and dial, directly connected to the gear train, which floats in the centre of the dial beneath an extremely long and finely curved minutes bridge. The barrel dominates the upper section of the dial, floating in an aperture beneath an open-worked bridge. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTo amplify the trompe l’oeil effect and create the impression that it is floating in the air, the surface of the gold winding rotor is convex.
