It's only apt, then, that the story of our beautiful Viridian Green should also begin in this city. Viridian Green pigment was first prepared in 1838 in Paris in the midst of its artistic radicalization. Parisian color chemist and painter Antoine-Claude Pannetier discovered the pigment as a hydrated form of chromium oxide. The preparation process was demanding, expensive, and shrouded in secrecy. This led to Viridian Green becoming a staple color on the palettes of impressionist artists of the time. \u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Czapek","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":47171272114347,"sku":"1706","price":40000.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0716\/2783\/3515\/files\/5769546403.jpg?v=1780528729","url":"https:\/\/www.exquisitetimepieces.com\/products\/czapek-x-fratello-promenade-transparencies-viridian-green-1706","provider":"Exquisite Timepieces","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
