The case’s graceful  curves are machined from 316L stainless steel, to a level usually  reserved for precious metals. The depth of the polish showcases the  sophistication of the machinery and the skill of the operator.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe traditional and bespoke ‘onion’-shaped winding crown, signed with the Fears Cypher, has fine grooves catch the light, adding a touch of radiance to the edge of the case.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCASEBACK\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOpen  exhibition caseback - the first time this has been available on a Jump  Hour, offering an unobstructed view of the decorated movement (and  custom Fears Blue rotor adorned with the Bristol flower)\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDIAL\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003enspired  by classic Stoke-on-Trent pottery with its distinctive pale, matte blue  and high contrast white. The sophisticated blue centre is combined with  a fine 3D barleycorn patterned offering a calm face to this timepiece.  Balancing the hour window on the upper side of the dial is a finely  brushed and bevelled plate set into the lower side of the dial bearing  the Fears name.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eOuter Dial – a distinct barleycorn pattern  radiating from the centre of the dial that has been coated in pure  silver (which then dazzles from bright white to silver depending on the  light)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eInner Dial – a soft blue matte lacquer that calm yet refined contrast\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\u003cp\u003eAs  this a ‘jump hour’ watch there are no hour numerals on the dial,  instead the hour is displayed via a window at 12 o’clock. The disc  displaying these numerals is coated in a bright white lacquer before the  hours are printed in glossy black ink in Fears bespoke ‘Edwin’ typeface  that's been enhanced for display in a round window.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe hour  window is surrounded by a hand-applied silver ring, coated in precious  Rhodium that has been machined with bevels before being finished by hand  with brushed and polished surfaces. These multiple finishes catch the  light while mirroring the polished bezel surrounding the crystal.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHAND\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWith the hours displayed neatly in a window, only one hand is required for telling the time. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe  ‘Fears-shaped’ minute hand includes dual-finishing with half the hand  polished to a mirror shine while the other half is frosted and the other  half a finish that best complements the dial configuration.
