Alexander Shorokhov was born in 1960 in Moscow. Early on in his school years, he discovered his interest and talent in engineering, drawing and design. As a student he consolidated his knowledge in these disciplines and accomplished his engineering studies in Moscow with distinction.

Itay Noy is one of a few dozen independent timepiece makers throughout the world. Itay Noy has been creating high-quality timepieces since 2000 and has helped design many collections including Droog Design Gallery - Amsterdam, C. Bronfman Collection - NY, The Israel Museum - Jerusalem. With its studio in Old Jaffa, Itay Noy designs limited-edition collection of hand-made watches and clocks, producing only about 150 watches a year.
NORD (north) is a geographical reference to the north of Switzerland, which is where Daniel Nebel was born in 1971 and where he makes his timepieces. In the year 2001 NORD ZEITMASCHINE was registered as a trade mark, by Daniel Nebel. Moreover, his initials "N" and "D" also form part of the word NorD. Because his watches contain many influences from machine engineering indeed, he began his career with an apprenticeship as a mechanic, ZEITMASCHINE (time machine) emerged as the second part of the brand name.
Over 100 years Oris has been making watches in Switzerland. Our watches are purely mechanical and are marked out by their distinctive design as well as the red rotor, the symbol of Oris mechanicals. Oris watches are also popular, as celebrities from Formula One, diving, jazz and aviation queue up to wear and support our unique creations.
