A NEW PULSE OF COLOUR: THE GRAVITY EQUAL FORCE ULTIMATE SAPPHIRE SALMON

Armin Strom presents a new take on its in-house micro rotor movement with the Gravity Equal Force Ultimate Sapphire Salmon. This new edition stands out with a salmon coloured PVD coated mainplate, surrounded by a stainless steel case enhanced by a grey nubuck leather strap with matching stitching and keepers. The result is a refined evolution of the GEF design, uniting contemporary materials with enduring aesthetic signatures. Like its blue predecessor, it remains housed in a compact 41 mm case and belongs to the System 78 collection, which celebrates the brand’s independent spirit and innovative horology.

Engineering Constant Precision

Setting the standard among independent watchmakers, the Gravity Equal Force is powered by its Calibre ASB19 - the first to feature a stop-work declutch mechanism inside the barrel combined with a micro rotor. This patented innovation guarantees constant force delivery to the balance wheel throughout the full 72-hour power reserve, ensuring enhanced isochronism and timekeeping precision. The compact micro rotor keeps the profile slim while maximizing winding efficiency. The movement’s visible structure - front and back - reflects a seamless dialogue between technical performance and visual openness

Crafted by Hand

As with all Armin Strom creations, hand-finishing takes centre stage. Every component of Calibre ASB19 is decorated to the highest standards at the brand’s manufacture in Biel/Bienne. Bevelled and polished bridges, black polished screws, circular graining, Geneva stripes and perlage reflect Armin Strom’s commitment to traditional craftsmanship.

The salmon mainplate, made in collaboration with independent watchmaker Kari Voutilainen, features an intricate hand-guilloché pattern that adds depth and tactility to the design. The transparent sapphire dial creates a look that draws the eye straight to the movement’s core. As always, each piece is assembled twice, ensuring flawless function and finish.

Limited Annual Production.

The Gravity Equal Force Ultimate Sapphire Salmon is produced in a limited series of 25 pieces per year. It embodies Armin Strom’s dedication to transparency, mechanical innovation and hand-finishing excellence - all in a striking new colour within the collection.
