The Deep Raider Day Date introduces a distinguished two-tone finish, bringing a new expression to the collection's everyday complication. Built on the same 40mm stainless steel case and FLD05 self-winding movement as the Day Date, this edition introduces a gold PVD treatment across the bezel, center bracelet links, and crown.

Crafted from 316L stainless steel, the 40mm case continues the Deep Raider collection's compact and confident proportions. At 12.5mm thick with a balanced 48.2mm lug-to-lug profile, the timepiece delivers a reassuring wrist presence while remaining highly wearable through everyday use. The architecture combines vertically brushed surfaces with polished accents along the contours of the case, topped by a double-domed sapphire crystal glass with antireflective coating. The unidirectional-rotating ceramic bezel reinforces the watch's professional dive-watch identity, while the 300-meter water resistance speaks directly to Favre Leuba's long-standing commitment to functional watchmaking.

Functionality In Two Languages

Positioned at 3 o’clock, the date and bilingual day displays introduce a practical complication that integrates naturally into the Deep Raider’s design language. The day indication can be adjusted in either English or German directly through the crown operation, allowing the wearer to select their preferred language with ease. Once set, the mechanism maintains the chosen language during every daily transition, creating a seamless ownership experience grounded in mechanical precision and everyday usability.

Refined With Peripheral Depth

The Two-Tone edition features a sunray-brushed surface that darkens progressively toward the edges in a peripheral gradient, shifting continuously under changing light. This execution draws depth inward from the circumference, producing a concentrated, vignette-like effect that gives the dial a sense of dimension without added texture.

The two-part sandwich construction reveals cut-out indexes filled with Super-LumiNova C1 X1 for a blue glow in low light. Angle-cut rhodium-plated hands with a polished finish provide crisp legibility across the surface, while the day-and-date display integrates cleanly at three o'clock, completing a dial that carries the Deep Raider's tool-watch roots while reflecting the Two-Tone's more expressive material character.

A yellow gold PVD unidirectional rotating bezel frames a ceramic insert, extending the two-tone finish to one of the watch's most functional elements. Defined knurling ensures confident handling above or below the surface, while a luminous marker at 12 o'clock maintains visibility in darker environments and at depth.

Integrated Comfort in Two Tones

An integrated three-link stainless steel bracelet pairs brushed and polished steel outer links with gold PVD center links, extending the two-tone's character from bezel to clasp. Secured by a butterfly clasp, the bracelet also features a tool-free interchangeability system, enabling seamless transitions between the steel bracelet and any rubber strap from the Deep Raider Renaissance collection.

The FLD05 Caliber

Powering the Deep Raider Day Date Two-Tone is the self-winding FLD05 caliber, based on the Sellita SW-220-1. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) with 26 jewels, the movement delivers a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. Designed around practical daily functionality, the caliber integrates both day and date indications while maintaining reliable precision.

Visibility Beyond Daylight

Angle-cut rhodium-plated hands and cut-out indexes are filled with Super-LumiNova C1 X1, emitting a blue glow for enhanced legibility in dark environments and underwater conditions. The luminous marker at 12 o'clock on the bezel and additional applied indicators further reinforce visibility, ensuring consistent readability at any depth and any hour.
