Design and functionality merge in the exceptional timepieces by Alexander Shorokhoff, and Jeweler Franzen celebrates the beautiful aspects of everyday life as well as the artistic facets of special moments. This connection has given rise to a unique collaboration, a culmination of what Franzen and Alexander Shorokhoff embody, encapsulating the essence of art and exclusivity.
The highlight of this special symbiosis is the exclusive presentation of a model from the house of Alexander Shorokhoff, available exclusively at Jeweler Franzen in Düsseldorf and in Alexander Shorokhoff’s own online shop: the FRANZEN x Alexander Shorokhoff New Limited Edition named “Crazy Balls Black.”
With a limited edition of only 30 pieces, the “Crazy Balls Black” continues the line of avant-garde watches from the “Alexander Shorokhoff” brand.
The “Crazy Balls Black” enchants with artistic design ideas and colors. The vibrantly enameled “balls,” shifting from the center of the dial outward, take center stage and lend their name to the watch. They are asymmetrical and irregular, placed randomly in terms of colors and sizes, slightly raised from the dial. They convey a sense of joy, enthusiasm, and agility, almost dancing on the stage of the black dial. Other balls, such as a tennis ball or a technical representation of the globe, can also be found on the dial, beneath the prominent logo and the large numeral “60.”
The remaining elements of the dial complement the entire composition of the new “AS movement” with their unique shapes and colors. The dial consists of multiple layers, various applications, and different materials such as mother-of-pearl, brass, and multiple colors. In the end, everything harmonizes, evoking a cheerful and positive emotion. Complementing the avant-garde and eccentric face, a matching bracelet has been created: a stingray leather strap in blue and red. The familiar look with a stainless steel case in 39 mm and 5 ATM water resistance is retained.
Powering the timepiece is the robust and highly reliable Swiss automatic caliber SW200, hand-engraved and refined in the “Alexander Shorokhoff” watch manufacture. It features blued screws and a power reserve of 38 hours.
All in all, the new art piece “Crazy Balls Black” is a uniquely innovative wristwear, fully aligned with the brand’s philosophy.
