HAND-ENGRAVING
The case features Chronos, the Greek god of time, after whom the brand is named. Hand-engraved by a local Swiss artist in Lucerne, each piece requires 4 days of meticulous work and is entirely unique; a true masterwork of craftsmanship.
GUILLOCHé [ghee-yoh-SHAY]
is a process of decorating a metallic surface with geometric patterns. Architectural ornament, it’s also a way of improving light diffusion across the surface in question. Chronoswiss carries out its own guilloché engraving in-house, working manually on onehundred-century-old machines.
THE ENGINE
The Neo Digiteur is powered by a new hand-wound calibre, featuring a proprietary in-house module developed entirely in Lucerne and paired with a Swiss base movement from manufacture La Joux-Perret. Key components, including the wheel and bridge, are hand-guilloché in the Chronoswiss Atelier, making this movement a singular and exclusive creation. The calibre number “85757” references the postal code of Chronoswiss’ very first workshop, close to Munich, Germany.
