Cyrus Geneva presents a bold new re-edition of its emblematic Klepcys Solo Tempo, one of the signature models in its collection.
Named Klepcys Solo Tempo Total Black, this new version — limited to only 20 pieces — takes a more contemporary and minimalist approach, while remaining true to the design codes that defined the success of its predecessors.
Unlike the previous collection, which featured an original skeletonised dial, this edition has a solid dial. Adorned with the now-familiar Cyrus triangle engraving, the dial has been given a black galvanic treatment that enhances its depth and defines its character. This monochrome black finish further emphasises the boldness of the Maison's design philosophy.
With the Klepcys Solo Tempo Total Black, the Manufacture offers a powerful new stylistic direction. The dial gives way to a solid surface with engraved geometric triangle motifs, a signature pattern used across various Cyrus creations. New applied hour-markers that echo the aesthetics of the openworked hands complete the dial layout, reinforcing its minimalist character and improving legibility. A design choice that focuses attention on time and amplifies the visual power of the timepiece.
A FUNCTIONAL SIGNATURE, UNCHANGED
The cushion-shaped case, measuring 46 mm and crafted entirely in DLC-coated stainless steel, retains its original proportions. Composed of 26 finely machined components, it has a screwed case back and offers optimal comfort on the wrist thanks to its ergonomically shaped lugs.
The twin crowns at 3 and 9 o’clock — one of the distinguishing features of Cyrus - are also present. Only the right-hand crown is functional, used to wind and set the time, while the left-hand crown serves a purely aesthetic purpose, maintaining the visual balance of the design.
Protected by a domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal, the dial embraces deep monochrome intensity, with black-finished hands treated with white Super-LumiNova®, subtly contrasting against it. The newly oversized applied indexes ensure clear readability at all times, while preserving an essential and refined style.
AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT AND TECHNICAL IDENTITY
Inside, the Klepcys Solo Tempo Total Black is powered by the in-house CYR1015 automatic movement, oscillating at 28,800 vibrations/hour (4 Hz) and offering a 42-hour power reserve. Robust, reliable, and precise, this calibre embodies the “Only Time” philosophy of the collection with deliberate mechanical simplicity.
The solid case back is screwed with four custom-made screws and is engraved with the Cyrus logo.
