One of the earliest dive chronographs is back this summer.
Originally launched in 1969, it returns – nearly 60 years later – with a full collection of eight new references, including a striking new Caribbean Blue dial.
In 1969, DOXA introduced the SUB 200 T.GRAPH — a professional dive watch with a chronograph movement, at a time when such functionality was rare in that context.
The Chronograph, SUB Style
When it was first introduced in 1969, the SUB 200 T.GRAPH did more than add a complication to the SUB — it expanded the scope of the tool watch. At a time when dive chronographs were still rare, it offered additional timing capabilities for specific situations, without compromising legibility.
The distinction is key: the T.GRAPH is not a dive chronograph in the strict sense, but a dive watch that incorporates a chronograph. Underwater, the unidirectional rotating bezel remains the primary reference for tracking dive time. At the surface, the chronograph takes over for short timing tasks — following the same functional logic.
The SUB 200 T.GRAPH II preserves this clarity, with a 30-minute counter and a balanced layout that remains true to DOXA’s functional approach.
Case Proportions Refined for Wearability
The cushion-shaped case evolves from 43 to 42 mm in width, and from 15.15 to 14.6 mm in thickness. It does not change the nature of the watch, but refines how it sits and reads on the wrist.
The update is as much about balance as it is about size — how the case settles, how stable it feels, and how the weight is distributed. The watch retains its presence — clear and structured — and more naturally poised for everyday use.
Caribbean Blue Joins the Line-Up
The SUB 200 T.GRAPH has long been defined by three of DOXA’s signature dial colors — Professional orange, Searambler sunburst silver, and Sharkhunter black. This new generation extends the palette with another of DOXA SUB’s iconic hues: Caribbean blue.
First introduced in the late 1960s and closely tied to the SUB line, this deep blue brings a subtle shift in tone – and a distinct new expression to the collection.
Built for Clarity, In and Out of the Water
The SUB 200 T.GRAPH II follows the same focus on clarity and reliability throughout.
Underwater, this means immediate, dependable reading of dive time, supported by the unidirectional bezel, clear markings, and water resistance to 200 meters — all essential where precision is critical.
Out of the water, that same approach carries through the Swiss chronograph automatic SW510 movement, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offering approximately 56 hours of power reserve – and providing a complementary way of measuring shorter intervals, with the same emphasis on precision and reliability.
Two Bracelet Options, Same Approach
Whether on the stainless steel “beads of rice” bracelet or a rubber strap, the SUB 200 T.GRAPH II stays true to DOXA’s practical approach. The steel bracelet continues the collection’s historical aesthetic.
The rubber strap is more direct, designed for secure wear across a wider range of conditions. On the Professional and Caribbean versions, a tone-on-tone rubber strap can be paired with the dial, creating a more unified look.
