Presenting the Deep Raider Renaissance, now with a Power Reserve Display
Favre Leuba propels the Deep Raider collection into a new era with the Power Reserve edition. After Favre Leuba’s revival in 2024, and the introduction of the Deep Raider Renaissance — inspired by the brand’s dive watch legacy — the Power Reserve edition takes that story further. This modern dive watch now comes with a vertical date window at 3 o’clock, small seconds at 9 o’clock, and a power reserve indicator at 6 o’clock.
Constructed for Finesse and Robustness
Constructed in stainless steel with the proportions of a true professional dive watch, the 40mm case with a thickness of 12.59mm is calibrated for optimal balance, durability, and wrist comfort. Its sculpted contours, tapered lugs, and polished chamfered edges refine the robust architecture, while the knurled screw-in crown reinforces its sealed integrity. It retains its 300-meter water resistance, like all Deep Raider Renaissance watches. The engraved caseback, bearing Favre Leuba’s historic emblem and the inscription “Conquering Frontiers Since 1737,” anchors it firmly in legacy.
A Composition of Power and Light
The dial draws the eye with a matte finish that radiates from the center, allowing light to move fluidly across its surface and amplify its dimensionality. Snailed sub-dials at 9 and 6 o’clock introduce a measured contrast, clearly distinguishing the small seconds from the power reserve. At 3 o’clock, the triple-figure date display in a vertical arc is a distinctive element, while raised metallic frames lend this composition clarity and confidence. The sub-dials appear in the same hue as the dial, except for in the white version, where the sub-dials go for high contrast in black.
A Functional Display
The eponymous reserve of power in the Deep Raider Renaissance Power Reserve stands at 41 hours. This is the key element on the dial of the timepiece. Seen at 6 o’clock, the power reserve indicator features a section in red to offer as an alert when the self-winding mechanical movement is low on power.
The Dive Tool Element
The unidirectional-rotating dive-timer bezel features a ceramic insert, ensuring durability and scratch resistance. A luminous pip at 12 o'clock makes for improved reading of dime time underwater. Like the screw-in knurled crown, the bezel also comes with defined knurling, which makes it easier to handle.
Seamless Integration And Versatility
The integrated stainless steel bracelet features a triple-link construction with alternating brushed and polished surfaces, seamlessly merging into the 40mm case. Equipped with a butterfly clasp and tool-free quick-change system, it enables effortless switching between the bracelet and any rubber strap from the Deep Raider Renaissance lineup.
The FLP01 Caliber
Driving the watch is the automatic FLP01 caliber at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) with 26 jewels, running for up to 41 hours fully wound. The balanced power can be seen on the indicator at 6 o'clock on the dial, showing how the Deep Raider Renaissance can integrate complications with rugged reliability required for a dive watch.
Illumination When It Matters Most
The hour and minute hands, along with applied rhodium-plated indexes, are filled with Super-LumiNova C1 X1, which emits blue light for exceptional legibility in low-light conditions and underwater environments. The luminous bezel pip at the 60-minute mark on the dive-timer bezel further enhances visibility in dark waters.
