The Classics Moneta Solarmetre becomes the first reference from the Frederique Constant Manufacture to be equipped with the solar-powered FC-120 calibre, developed by La Joux-Perret Manufacture.
The Solarmetre Revolution: Elegance Reimagined
This timepiece ushers in a new era for the collection with the integration of the FC-120 Solarmetre caliber, a technological feat developed alongside La Joux-Perret. Its burgundy dial with a grained finish is actually a sophisticated translucent surface: it allows light to pass through to power hidden photovoltaic cells, enabling the watch to run potentially forever as long as it is exposed to a light source. A single minute of exposure provides enough energy for a full day of operation, and in total darkness, the rechargeable battery ensures an impressive 10-month autonomy. This 39mm model perfectly blends this cutting-edge engine with a classic aesthetic, featuring a “coin-edge” inner ring and a black leather strap. For added versatility, this timepiece comes with an additional Milanese mesh bracelet.
