Glamorous in Stainless Steel
The Serenade Luna in ‘Purple Velvet’ is a glamorous piece of jewellery, a feminine wristwatch and a mechanical masterpiece all in one. Its talents and facets are housed in a round stainless steel case measuring 32.5 mm in diameter. The dial of this exquisite ladies’ watch glows in a deep purple, which is just as suitable for special occasions as it is for everyday business. This spirited creation is rounded off by either a purple alligator leather strap with a silky gloss finish or a sporty metal bracelet.
Purple Velvet Dial
The Serenade Luna presents itself in a colour reminiscent of velvet and silk. The dark violet is a luxurious composition of red and blue, inspired by the Gynura aurantiaca, also known as the ‘velvet plant’. It appears spiritual, inspiring and mysterious at the same time. A fine sunray finish and translucent lacquer on the dial create visual depth, while the lively reflections of the diamond indexes and the sparkling diamond-set bezel underline the jewellery character of the watch.
Mother-of-pearl moon Phase
The Serenade Luna features a sophisticated moon phase display located in a round cut-out on the dial at 6 o’clock. The entire moon disc is made of white mother-of-pearl and features four round circles of dark Tahitian mother-of-pearl, which represent the starry night sky. The respective moon phase is determined by the intersection with the moon window, which is accentuated by a narrow rim. Both the moon disc and the dial are produced in-house and are elaborately crafted by hand.
Mechanical Masterpiece
The automatic calibre 35 is carefully crafted by hand and meets the highest standards of our manufactory. A silicon balance spring makes the Serenade Luna resistant to temperature fluctuations and magnetic fields. The transparent case back allows the various refinements of the movement to be admired: the precise stripe finish on the Glashütte three-quarter plate, the sunburst finish on the reduction wheel and the rotor track with fine perlage finish. The filigree shell decoration on the gold rotor plate resembles a theatre curtain, promising the next big performance.
