The S1 Orange turns fluidic time into racing light, built for those who never lift off.
The S1 Titanium Orange takes its inspiration from starting lights, pit walls and late‑afternoon track sessions. It is HYT’s most extrovert S1, a Millésime Edition available only until April 2027, designed for those who like their hydromechanics with a visible jolt of colour.
Its satin‑finished silver titanium case with orange ceramic trim draws a luminous ring around the dial, immediately picking up the eye. Inside the capillary, a black fluid traces the hours like a racing line against orange kerbs, while matching orange decals and SLN turn the S1 into a wrist‑mounted beacon when the lights go down.
Beneath the openworked architecture, the 501‑CM calibre delivers 72 hours of power reserve and animates HYT’s fluidic hours via two immiscible liquids running through a 0.8 mm borosilicate tube. The mechanical‑fluidic interface, bellows, cam and feeler, keeps the liquid display perfectly in sync with the central minutes and small seconds.
The 45.30 × 17.20 mm titanium case remains light and balanced, with sloping sides and sharply angled strap attachments for a secure fit during real‑world activity. A tone‑on‑tone orange rubber strap completes the racing attitude and can be swapped for the anthracite strap using HYT’s intuitive quick‑change system.
