For the new Laco Napa 42 mm matte steel pilot watch, the inner hour ring from its navigator sister commands the entirety of the dial, providing a clean, simplified tool watch for those operating the yolk. Thedistinctive blend of Roman numerals (for the upper half of the dial), Arabic numerals (for the lower half of the dial), bar markers for the cardinal hours of 3, 6 and 9 o’clock, and a traditional downward arrow for 12 o’clock reproduce heritage pilot watch dials from the early 20th century, yet inject a feel of design-forward modernity.
