Inspired by the raw surface of the ice hockey rink, the white “scratched ice” dial captures the intensity of the game from the first face-off to the final second. A white inner bezel with a pulsometer features a heartbeat indicator and a timeout symbol at the 200 mark, serving as a purely graphic and whimsical reference to the pace and intensity of the game, a symbolic reminder to catch your breath. At 9 o’clock, the white hockey face-off circle counter is paired with a small seconds disc adorned with crossed hockey sticks, a playful tribute to the sport’s identity. Black counters at 12 and 6 o’clock, the latter proudly displaying the NHL logo, create a bold contrast, while the day and date indication ensures everyday functionality.
