The Bodywork

The Seamaster Diver 300m 210.20.42.20.03.001 has a stainless steel case with 18k yellow gold. The bracelet is stainless steel with lines of yellow gold and the crowns of the watch are also made of polished yellow gold.

The sapphire crystal has an anti-reflective coating on both sides. The placement of this crystal allows the wearer to see the movement inside the watch. Due to the sturdiness and scratch-resistance of the crystal, both sides of the watch are protected from damage.

The Dial

The dial of this watch is perhaps the most beautiful part of it. The overall dial is a high gloss blue zirconium oxide ceramic dial with a laser engraved wave design as its background. This glossy blue color is paired with polished yellow gold hour markers with a luminous fill to give them an enchanting glow. Similarly, the minute hands are also polished yellow gold, but they only have luminous tips, while both hands are skeltonized. When all of these colors and designs come together, the dial of the watch looks phenomenal.

To further elevate the aesthetics of the dial, Omega decided to fine print the minute and seconds track, giving the watch an artistic feel. In addition, the date window is perfectly placed without disrupting the design of the watch.

The Performance

While Omega put a lot of thought in the aesthetics of this dive watch, they did not forget about the performance. Equipped with the Omega Calibre 8800 movement system, the Seamaster Diver 300m 210.20.42.20.03.001 has a power reserve of 55 hours and a Certified Master Chronometer approved by METAS (Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology). This means that the precision of this movement system is certificated. In addition to an accurate movement system, this chronometer is resistant to magnetic fields of up to 15000 gauss and offers the ability to self-wind or allow automatic winding in both directions.
