AUTOMATIC WATCH WITH BLACK STEEL CASE AND SILVER DIAL
The Waltz N°1 is the flagship model of the Austrian watch brand Carl Suchy & Söhne. The wristwatch with automatic movement is handcrafted in Switzerland in strictly limited production series. The minimalist design language of the Waltz N°1 is characterized by clear lines reducted to the essential. The pure design of the black-and-white luxury watch is inspired by the timeless elegance of Viennese Modernism.
The watch is assembled using 100 percent Swiss-made components of highest quality.
MOVEMENT
All Carl Suchy & Söhne watches boast an ultra-thin automatic movement by Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier with gold-plated micro-rotor, providing the watch with 48 hours of power reserve.
CASE
The Waltz N°1’s 41.5mm stainless steel case features a deep-black ADLC-coating, creating a timeless look, maximum hardness and wear resistance. The movement is visible through the anti-glare sapphire glass case-back.
DIAL
The dial is white and subtly adorned by a lined guilloche pattern, which is divided in the middle. The watch counts the seconds in the form of a rotating “waltzing disc” at six o’clock. At every full minute, the pattern of the second disc matches that of the dial – for the Viennese sense of time, in which the second does not count. The applied minute and hour hands are set into the dial itself and, together with the dial, are curved upward at the outer ends.
STRAP AND BUCKLE
The Waltz N°1’s wristband is made of high-quality black genuine leather with black stitching and fine details. The geometric pattern on the inside of the strap was designed specifically for Carl Suchy & Söhne. The security folding clasp made of stainless steel offers maximum comfort and safety. It is adorned with the historical Griffon-badge of Carl Suchy & Söhne.
