The mechanic watch with a longstanding Austrian legacy is handcrafted in Switzerland in strictly limited production series. The high-quality dress watch is characterized by clear lines and minimalist design, inspired by Viennese Modernism.
MOVEMENT
All Carl Suchy & Söhne watches boast an ultra-thin automatic movement by Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier with gold-plated micro-rotor, providing the watch with 48 hours of power reserve. Côtes de Genève-finishing.
CASE
The 41.5mm stainless steel case of the Waltz N°1 Blue Danube plays smartly with the opposing brushed and polished surfaces. Serial Number is engraved on the back. Transparent case back.
DIAL
The dial is of a unique blue (Bleu Oxidé) and divided in half by vertical and horizontal guilloche lines. The rotating seconds disc at 6 o’clock aligns with the pattern of the dial – for the Viennese sense of time in which the second does not count.
STRAP AND BUCKLE
The strap is made of the highest quality blue genuine leather with blue lines and intricate details. The geometrical pattern on the inside of the strap was designed for Carl Suchy & Söhne and is a homage to the prolific Viennese architect Adolf Loos. The stainless steel security push buckle of Carl Suchy & Söhne is adorned by the historic griffon-logo.
