And which were so instrumental to Max Bill both as a student and artist. The vertically arranged totalizers fit perfectly into the clear arrangement of the dial.
Equipped with a date display, chronograph, domed sapphire crystal, and water resistance up to 5 bar, the max bill Chronoscope Bauhaus represents the connection of utility and beauty – form follows function. The color scheme of the max bill Chronoscope Bauhaus is inspired by the architec-ture of the Bauhaus building in Dessau, which had left a lasting impression on Max Bill right upon his arrival: “something never seen before: white walls and large dark glass facades, with the student house in the foreground, the balcony doors as miniaceous accents.” This impression is reflected in a replica of the school on the glass case back. The automatic movement executing its work with utmost precision can be observed through the miniature window facade.
