A masterpiece of craftsmanship, jumping hour, and personal anticipation.
Dial
The shimmering light-gray surface is created on historic, manually operated guilloché machines. Line by line, the metal is engraved with the utmost concentration. Every movement demands complete calm, experience, and an almost meditative precision. Only through this fine structure does the dial truly come to life: it reflects light in ever-changing nuances, creating depth, motion, and a striking three-dimensional radiance. No two dials are exactly alike. The Panthero’s exceptional dial architecture provides a distinctive stage for this craftsmanship. The off-center, finely applied minute track, the outer rehaut, the signature single hand, and the rotating sun wheel are all rendered in an elegant blue. The result is a truly unmistakable watch face—clear, harmoniously balanced, and defined by the confident individuality found only at MeisterSinger.
Case
The 40.5 mm case immediately stands out with its elegance. A look at the front makes it clear: the bezel is extremely slim, serving merely as a stage curtain for the spectacular dial architecture. The case also demonstrates strong individuality in the design of its flanks and the spiral-shaped crown. The interplay of polished and brushed surfaces creates a particularly harmonious impression. The Panthero Jumping Hour is water-resistant to 5 bar and features a domed sapphire crystal over the dial. Through the exhibition case back, the movement can be observed as it performs its precise work.
Movement
Inside, the MS-JH-01 powers the watch, built on the slim Swiss automatic Sellita SW300 and enhanced with a highly sophisticated jumping-hour module. In an unusual move for MeisterSinger, the signature single hand takes on the role of the minute display, completing a full rotation every 60 minutes along the off-center minute track. Meanwhile, the hour advances in precise jumps within the circular aperture. The MeisterSinger sun wheel at the lower part of the dial turns continuously, subtly revealing the steady passage of time.
Features
The tradition of souscription is one of the most fascinating chapters in classical watchmaking. As early as the 18th century, exceptional timepieces were created in this way—not produced in advance for an undefined market, but only once their future owner had consciously chosen them. Each watch therefore had a clear origin from the very beginning—and a personal purpose. With the Souscription Panthero Jumping Hour Guilloché, MeisterSinger brings this historic principle into the present. Even before the first line is cut into the dial, the first movement assembled, or the first hour allowed to jump, it is already known for whom this particular piece is intended. In this way, every Panthero Jumping Hour becomes a timepiece whose story does not begin on the wrist, but in the quiet anticipation and the special certainty that this watch exists only because it was truly desired. During the manufacturing period, the future owners receive regular insights into the various stages of production and can follow how their personal timepiece gradually takes shape, step by step.
Reading a single-hand watch
Each line in the outer circle of MeisterSinger’s single-hand watches stands for exactly 5 minutes. The hand is therefore both an hour hand and a minute hand. For example, if the hand points to the fifth stroke after ten, the time is 10:25.
The line hierarchy typical of MeisterSinger single-hand watches additionally divides the time display into half and quarter hours, thus making it easier to read off the time accurately.
