Vulcain Cricket... the Wrist Alarm Watch
Five years of continuous research and experimentation were spent by the engineers of the world-famous Vulcain Watch Factory at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, in developing the greatest advance in watchmaking since the advent of the wrist watch...
The Vulcain Cricket is as easy to wind and set as any watch.
The watch movement and patented alarm mechanism may be wound and set with one hand while the watch is on the wrist.
The watch is fitted with the usual winder and also a button (se figure 1). The alarm dial is arranged in 10 minute cali-brations. According to the position of the hand illustrated in figure 1, the alarm would go off at 4:40. The winder and button can each be placed in several different positions. (See figures 2, 3, 4 and 5.)
