AUTOMATIC WATCH WITH BLACK STEEL CASE AND BLACK DIAL
The Waltz N°1 is the bestseller of the Austrian watch brand Carl Suchy & Söhne. Inspired by Viennese Modernism, the smooth design of the Waltz N°1 refrains from superfluous decorations.
The black steel case features a gorgeous ADLC –coating that gives the sporty design a mysterious look. This elegant wristwatch is handcrafted in Switzerland according to the highest quality standards of watchmaking, available only in strictly limited series.
MOVEMENT
The Waltz N°1 is equipped with the ultra-slim automatic movement VMF 5401 (height 2.6 mm) with gold-plated micro-rotor. The small, decentralized oscillating mass is particularly light and provides the watch with a power reserve of 48 hours.
CASE
The Waltz N°1 features a 41.5 mm stainless steel case with ADLC– coating. The diamond-like carbon coating not only provides a deep black but also ensures maximum durability and scratch resistance. The automatic movement is visible through the anti-glare sapphire glass case-back.
DIAL
The dial is black (ADLC –coating) and divided in half by vertical and horizontal guilloche lines. At every full minute, the rotating seconds disc at 6 o’clock aligns with the pattern of the dial – for the Viennese sense of time in which the second does not count. The applied minute and hour hands are set into the dial itself and curved upward to match the slope of the rehaut.
STRAP AND BUCKLE
Silk-mat black genuine leather strap with black stitching. The pattern on the inside of the wristband was inspired by Adolf Loos and designed especially for Carl Suchy & Söhne. The security push buckle offers maximum comfort and safety, playing subtly with the contrasts of matt and shiny surfaces. It is adorned with the historical Griffon-badge of Carl Suchy & Söhne.
