SKELETON WATCH WITH STAINLESS STEEL CASE AND BLACK DIAL
The Waltz N°1 Skeleton is a Special Series watch by the Austrian watch brand Carl Suchy & Söhne. The skeletonized automatic watch is handcrafted in strictly limited series according to the highest quality standards of Swiss watchmaking.
The dial of the Waltz N°1 Skeleton is partly opened along the lined guilloche pattern, revealing just enough to anticipate the perfectly skeletonized ultra-thin caliber VMF 5401/180 by Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier with hand polished and finished angles. The mechanical skeleton watch combines the highest watchmaking skills with a sophisticated contemporary design.
MOVEMENT
Die Waltz N°1 Skeleton is equipped with the ultra-thin skeletonized automatic movement caliber 5401/180 with decentralised micro-rotor. The PVD-black, open-worked rhodium-plated angles and bridges were hand-finished to reveal the refined movement’s intricacies.
CASE
The skeleton wristwatch has a stainless-steel case. The case back is made of anti-reflective sapphire glass, so that the artfully skeletonized movement is visible.
DIAL
The dial is black and partly opened along the vertical and horizontal guilloche-lines that divide optically the dial into two sides, revealing the skeleton movement beneath. The rotating second disc at 6 o’clock is also opened along with the lined pattern, representing the joyous movement of the Viennese Waltz.
STRAP AND BUCKLE
Genuine alligator strap with black stitching. The pattern on the inside of the bracelet was inspired by Adolf Loos and was designed especially for Carl Suchy & Söhne. The security push buckle offers maximum wearing comfort and plays with the contrasts of matt and shiny surfaces. The clasp is adorned by the original double-stripe badge of Carl Suchy & Sons.
